India: The Genocide Within A Democracy

INDIA IS NOT A DEMOCRACY

I want this to be the first blog post of 2011 as it's a real eye opener / game changer. It is possibly the most important material I've run into for 2010. I watched it with my jaw dropped.

Let's go back to the urban city dwellers. Where does their culture come from? From where does civilization and its fundamental principles come from? It had to take root from somewhere. I believe, for India, for many millennia, the principles of civilization were adopted from those dwellers who lived in harmony with nature deep in the forests and countryside. Today, some of them are politically termed Naxalites or MAOists.

Civilization. What does it mean to be civilized? Isn't it a set of rules that everyone abides by so that everyone can live more in harmony and dignity? Then, who is this collective group of people that calls themselves the government and executives? Who's permission did they get to destroy members of their own society for the sake of material accumulation? And so sly they are that the urban city dwellers, both the growing rich and the middle classes, are completely unaware that there is a program running which they living under, is NOT one of democracy, as they are led to believe. It is an authoritarian state, doing its bidding on behalf of the 100 of the wealthiest Indian families, which control 25% of India's GDP.

The whole system, including the print media, television and radio, and the politicians are all bought and paid for by the psychopaths. What then exists is a matrix that is a fictional reality. And if all this is true for India, "the democracy", it also applies for the United States, "the democracy".

Genocide? What genocide? It' been said that officials from the government went to the Indian Army for securing territory, to which the Army replied back, that the Indian Army was not going to kill its own citizens.

Thank god for the arrest of Dr. Binayak Sen or else I wouldn't have pursued this line of research. I've found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow that was 2010.

Arundhati Roy and Gautam Navlakh do a fantastic job of bringing back from the forests of India and disseminating the information with such clarity, that it can be readily understood, and conclusions easily extracted. Many thanks to Satyen K. Bordoloi for uploading these videos.

And on a quick note, I am pleased to have 113 subscribed to this blog at the end of 2010. My goal is to have 300 by the end of 2011. Let's see what 2011 brings.

India: A Tale of Two Nations led by Psychopaths

DON'T BELIEVE THE ECONOMIC HYPE

This week unmasks the true nature of domestic policy by the corporates, the mafia/mob, and the corrupt politicians. This is the shot heard across the world. A growing India is growing on the backs of the majority of its poor. The poor are getting poorer while a handful have seen income increases. The poor are seeing less food in their bellies. The poor being attacked by a top down economic policy that is destroying their dignity and way of life. It all goes back to the misery index (stock market indexes) as described by P Sainath.

"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." -- Martin Luther King Jr., Letter from Birmingham Jail, April 16, 1963

A growing yet naive and ignorant IT (Information Technology) tech/engineer and FIRE economies on one side, and the rest the economy as agricultural, village, and subsistence based, have seen two different economic policies from the top to bottom government officials. The government politicians (everyone is on the take whether it is the federal, state, or local levels) has instituted a top down policy that gives preference to corporate and mafia interests versus India's poorest citizens who live off the land in the poorest of conditions. On behalf of the corporates and mafia, the corrupted politicians have decided to clear out villages (commit genocide) whose land is desired by corporate mining interests. Such lands contain natural resources and minerals such as bauxite (aluminum).

Ask yourself, why is the government and military invading these lands under the premise that those citizens defending one's lands and interest against an invasion of a central government politically defining poor citizens minding their own business in their own lands as MAO terrorists? The government has named these people Naxalites, Naxals or Naksalvadis.

Wiki:
As of 2009, Naxalites were active across approximately 220 districts in twenty states of India accounting for about 40 percent of India's geographical area, They are especially concentrated in an area known as the "Red corridor", where they control 92,000 square kilometers According to India's intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing, 20,000 armed cadre Naxalites were operating in addition to 50,000 regular cadres and their growing influence prompted Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to declare them to be the most serious internal threat to India's national security.

The red corridor contains natural resources coveted by corporates / corporations.

I say fight back by boycotting products such as aluminum and aluminum products such as foil, pots, pans, kitchen utensils etc. Boycott just like Gandhi did with British cotton and buy alternate products based on steel. The Salt March is in one's hands as citizens selective destroy the corrupt power that feeds off people's purchases.

India: A Terror State vs. Dr. Binayak Sen

India's version of the Patriotic Act

How ironic and upside down! Doublespeak at its finest. Those who commit crimes against the state and its people are in charge to accuse a humanitarian of those exact crimes and then. Then, punishment reserved for those criminals at the highest levels of the State and Enterprise, is doled out to that individual activist who's fighting for everybody's right to exist in a dignified form.

Dr. Binayak Sen gets convicted for life in prison for helping poor people defend their interests against corrupt state and business interests.

It's par for course. The citizens of a state enjoying themselves, ignoring the real task at hand. Innocent activists who get in the way of the psychopathic businessmen and their windfall profits vis-a-vis the exploitation of people's lands are dealt with specifically targeted mind and spiritually destructive punishment such as solitary confinement. There again is that accusation of sedition and crimes against the state.

I sustain that the government can't pass laws that override free speech or life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

The case will be appealed to the India's Supreme Court.
