He says every audience member pays $8000 to watch the show from in the seats. And he says there's 2000 attendees. That's $16 million dollars. So it's a business! PLUS the speakers do not get paid anything AND they are made to jump through hoops for a whole week for 14-17 hours a day! What's going on?

I just finished watch the 60 Minutes report titled Prosecuting Wall Street. Once again, 60 minutes is 60 months behind. When they interviewed the guy from the Dept of Justice and asked why they haven't brought any cases against the big boys, the reply was that anger should not determine if we bring a case, and that it took several years to bring a case. Well isn't it more than several years since 2008. If I was the interviewer, I would told the Dept of Justice guy that William K Black, the guy that put 2000 executive in jail in the late 1980s says the fraud is even bigger this time and that he would be happy to be given the opportunity to work on fraud cases.

Matt Taibbi: SEC destroys record files and Wall Street doesn't go to jail

So the SEC cover-ups the fraud schemes of high finance? I suspect it's all departments in government. The government officials go through a revolving door and use the government job as a resume builder. They then move back into the private sector where the companies they played patty caked with hire them with a nice high salary payoff. It's good old fashioned bribery in disguise.

As as mentioned before, the higher up ones goes in an organization, the more corrupt it gets. Unfortunately, the people at the bottom have to follow the commands from the top. Therein lies the rub.

So if the people cannot pay back their loan, they go to debtor prison in Ireland. Three points I'd like to make:

1) If you are liable to go to prison, why did you take up a loan you could not or did not want to pay back?
2) If the bankers or the property developers cannot pay back their loans, shouldn't they be the ones going to debtor prison? Why the bailout?
3) Why do people wait until things affect them personally? Can't people think in the abstract?

Anyways.. Onto to Bill Moyer's (2nd) last interview which is with William K. Black. Mr. Black's been there on Bill Moyer's program before. He had that blockbuster interview that really shed light on the banking fraud. This interview also sheds some light on some of the recent events in the news such as the "show" hearings by Congress where they ask bank executives some tough questions.

I must say, we must get William K. Black into a position where he can start going after these crooks and shut their operations down. He put over a 1000 bankers in jail during that S&L fiasco. This time around it should be at least 10x that much. Round up those paddy wagons! Demand Congress give William K. Black the ammo he needs to go after the crooks!
