The value of the value wisdom is down in the human stock market. And now for some pearls of wisdom (or is it wisdom first, then pearls?)...

Devdutt Pattnaik, an amazing mythologist, is a self declared "Chief Belief Officer" for his organization, Future Group. I think you will be delighted with his discussion of conflict arising from money, property, and inheritance. He assesses these desires of accumulation through the use of the three Hindu Godesses:

Lakshmi (also Laxmi) - The Goddess of wealth. Accompanied by her destructive twin sister Alakshmi.
Alakshmi - Goddess of discord. Sister of Lakshmi. Both Lakshmi and Alakshmi arrive as pairs.
Saraswaiti - Goddess of knowledge, good sense, and wisdom.
