Michael Hudson: Tax the Rentiers!

Michael Hudson does it again, deciphering the language of back room economics. The aristocrats have it good as their rentier income does not get taxed nearly as much as those who labor. And then there's CIA infiltration of mainstream social groups... As always, understand these tricks will mean better resistance to junk economics.

Donate a better economic system

ECONOMIC SYSTEM WITH DIGNITY

Instead of donating money, why not donate a better economic system to a poor person? They are, after all, poor because of a faulty system that unfairly distributes income and neglects providing a livelihood for everyone. Imagine designing a system that doesn't include everyone in the design! Then one wonders why things are the way they are.

The design for the system is concocted behind closed doors somewhere in an ivory tower. THEY ARE NOT MAKING AND PASSING OUT COTTON CANDY IN THERE. Poverty is designed by purpose.

So, if you can donate money, donate a better economic system. Even if you can't donate money you can still try to donate a better economic system!

California State Worker Salaries

A lot of the high up administrators see their salaries almost double from 2008 to 2009! What gives? Here's the whole lot and their salaries posted conveniently on this website. I've linked to the California Highway Patrol specifically.

Some salaries have been reduced by about 10% from 2008 to 2009 as they should be but they are still very high! Cut some more! There's no way a government worker should be paid more than a private employee. There's a serious imbalance in the economy!

PSSST: Us workers in the private sector are in the wrong business!

A look at harsh life in the Ukraine

With no other source of income, these miners in the Ukraine eek out an existence on coal dug out from previously closed mines.

I got claustrophobic just from watching the video. That's due to me imagining that there is no air. I would be flopping around out of my mind trying to get back out!

Let's try to have a more equitable distribution of income shall we?

Anyways, you and I live like royalty compared to this. Remember, everything is relative. After watching this, you will be thankful and appreciative for what you have and you will even settle for a lot less than what you have now.

Driven to eat mud - Ganne, India

CORRUPT TO THE BONE

What is it about a society, a system, a structure that neglects its people? If money or supply of food isn't the problem, then what is? Is it the corruption? Why are people so dismissive of improprieties? Take the problem to task! If a person does a honest day's work, is he/she not entitled to a fair meal?

Laws in India are in place to theoretically provide for the basic necessities through subsidies and distribution. The intellectuals of yesteryears have already thought it thought and implemented their plans. What sits in the way are corrupt workers and politicians who steal the product intended for poverty stricken end consumers. The cowardly thieves will eiher use it themselves or resell it for a profit.

Nip corruption in the bud or it will nip you eventually!

Citibank's Plutonomy Report 2006

Do you think these guys (the likes of Citibank) don't know what's going on? Do you really think it's incompetence that has caused such an imbalance in income distribution? Take a glimpse into Citibank's Plutonomy Report in 2006 as they paint wealth confiscation by the top 10% as a good thing. Go politicians!

The report looks like it was written by Indian workers. How can I tell? By the phrases that are used.

This report was linked elsewhere online at several websites a few weeks ago. So I apologize if you have already run into it.
